In 1954 a navy jet fuel pipeline was constructed from Miramar to North Island. Clairemont was built on top of that pipeline. A portion of it runs under Pacific Bluffs Corp II. The pipeline enters/exits our property at 4140 Genesee Ave (Debra Howell’s house) and 4102 Genesee (Near the driveway on Mt. Alifan.). You can see brass markers affixed to the curb.

The Navy will begin surveying the pipeline in November 2017 and will begin repairs in March 2018.
